The Gold Award winning Moroccan Marmalade is now officially classed as one of the best marmalades in the world!

Helen’s beautifully spiced sweet orange & and carrot savoury marmalade won top prize in the internationally renowned Artisan & Small Producer Savoury category.

Winning an Artisan Award denotes a marmalade of incredibly high quality. All Artisan entries are judged by an expert panel and selected winners are sold by Fortnum & Mason in their famous Piccadilly store. This is a specialist competition for small producers who make their marmalade using the tradition open-pan method, and sell their products commercially.

The Awards, founded in 2005, are entered by people from a wide array of countries including Australia, Japan, Colombia, Senegal, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Canada, India and Singapore.

Helen collected her award at Marmalade HQ, Dalemain Mansion in Penrith, Cumbria, at a special prizegiving ceremony held on Sunday 20th June on the front steps of Dalemain Mansion.

"Winning a Gold Award in my first year of trading is beyond all my expectations and to officially say that I am now one of the best marmalade makers in the world is just amazing!” says Helen. “Traditionally made, my savoury Moroccan Marmalade is bursting with Moroccan spices that compliment the sweetness from the orange, carrot and apricot - the perfect addition to your charcuterie platter and sublime with lamb and fish. It really is a surprise and delight in a jar.”
